Marjorie I. Fields, 78, of Decatur, Illinois, died Friday, April 6, 2012. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mt. Zion, IL. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60601. Marjorie was born December 23, 1933, in Washington, IN, the daughter of Elmer and Laura (Veale)Emmons. She married Robert Eugene Fields and he preceded her in death on August 6, 1980. Marjorie formerly worked at the Americana Nursing Home. She is survived by her son Darrell Eugene Fields (Debra Ann) of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Dana Jones (Eric) of Cerro Gordo, IL, Dara Baker (Travis) of Decatur, IL, Heather of Decatur, IL; great grandchildren Derek Jones and Alana Baker; sisters Joe Watson (Jack) of Washington, IN, Mary Fuller of Toledo, OH, Elsie Stafford of Petersburg, IN, Ruth Wilson of Washington, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
