Marilyn Ivalee McCammack, 88, of Decatur, Illinois, died in her home surrounded by the family she loved on April 29, 2018. Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 3 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with Pastor Ed McCammack officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 2 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Mt Carmel United Methodist Church, Brownstown, Illinois, or Heartland Community Church, Decatur, Illinois.Mrs. McCammack was born October 27, 1929, in rural Brownstown, Illinois, the daughter of George and Hazel Sefton. She married Charles McCammack on August 30, 1947, in Vandalia, Illinois. Marilyn raised three children, worked for General Electric, and retired from Taylor Pharmaceutical.Surviving are her children, Mick (Deb) McCammack, Janet Stead, and Cheryl (Dave) Griffiths, brother, Maurice (Sue) Sefton, sisters, Georgiana Ragsdale and Faye (Bob) Schwarm, sisters-in-law, Jean Sefton, Donna Sefton, and Wilma McCammack, grandchildren, Wendi McKenzie, Jeremy (Nicki) McCammack, Jake (Kelly) McCammack, Jill (Justin) Eighner, Jamie (Jon) Smith, Matthew (Jeana) Griffiths, and Michael Griffiths. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Kilburn, Loren Joe, and Darrell, sister, Lea Ellen, and grandchildren, Chad Stead and Angie Morris.Thank you to all of our friends and family that helped us through mom's journey. A special thank you to DMH Hospice caregivers.Our mom was a loving, dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who worked hard to protect and provide for her family. She will be missed. "
