Marilyn Jane Janvrin, 87, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, June 8, at Fair Haven Christian Village. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to Boiling Springs Church of God. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Marilyn was born in Decatur to Hansford and Dorothy (Johnson) Tatham on August 8, 1931. She graduated from Decatur High in 1949. She married Russell Janvrin on June 16, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2018. Marilyn was a member of Boiling Springs Church of God. She worked for the Decatur Paper House, Macon County Farm Bureau and retired after 25 years at Decatur Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Snyder (Don) of Decatur; granddaughter, Sarah Maldonado (Ever) of Gaithersburg, MD; sister, Norma Corrington of O’Fallon, MO; sister-in-law, Sue Janvrin and brother-in-law, Burton Janvrin, both of Decatur; many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant sister. "
