Marian Elizabeth (Maribeth) Pflum, 50, of Decatur passed away November 6, 2020 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Cerro Gordo Cemetery, 321 Oakley Road, Cerro Gordo, IL, with Pastor Terry Leach officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Maribeth’s honor may be made to The Brethren Church of Cerro Gordo, 209 S Jefferson, Cerro Gordo, IL 61818. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, is assisting the family. Maribeth was born October 31, 1970 in Aurora, Colorado, the daughter of Steve Pflum and Susan (Krigbaum) Bleavins. She graduated from Cerro Gordo High School in the class of 1989. Maribeth worked in food service at Decatur Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed softball, bowling, and playing Bunco with her friends. Maribeth was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and she loved animals, especially her cat T.T. She is survived by her father, Steve (Linda) Pflum of Mesa, Arizona; stepfather, James Bleavins of Cerro Gordo; half-brother Jason Bleavins of Springfield; and step sisters, Carol Mode and Cheryl Politz. Maribeth was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Bleavins; and half brother Clayton Bleavins.
