Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 18, at Harristown Cemetery. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements.Memorials may be made to Decatur and Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation, Decatur Humane Society, or Homeward Bound Pet Shelter.Marian was born on July 3, 1918, in Bethany, IL, the daughter of Ancil and Lillie (Colburn) Livesey. She married Marvin V. Evans in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1983.Marian was a homemaker and a former member of Grace United Methodist Church. Marian loved raising dogs though out her lifetime and had a love for all animals.Surviving are her son Gregory L. Evans and wife Susan of Decatur, IL; daughters Debra S. Smith and husband David of Melbourne, FL, and Wendy L. Evans-Terry and husband Kurt of Decatur, IL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Marian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and two brothers. "
