Marian Virginia Brozio, 102, of Carmel, IN, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away at 5:22 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Crown Point Assisted Living, Carmel, IN. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation from 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 28, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to: St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Marian was born March 15, 1913, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of John and Clara (Godwin) Moreland. She married Walter Brozio on December 10, 1932 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1976. Marian was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her son: Walter F. (Skip) Brozio and wife Joyce of Decatur, IL; daughter: Mary Ann Gordon and husband Terry of Carmel, IN; grandchildren: Greg Brozio, Terry Lynn Dawson, Jack May, Jeff May, Larry May, Lisa Peters, Zachary Gordon, and Jenny Parker; 10 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, daughter Peggy Jean May, granddaughter Annie Gordon, one sister, one brother, and two step-sisters. "
