Margie J. Mooney, 80, of Harristown, IL, died 9:32 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Northwest Christian Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 6, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Margie was born September 6, 1933, in Cowden, IL, the daughter of William Dwight and Jeannine (Moore) Hodson. She married Ansel A. Mooney on September 21, 1956 in Cowden, IL. Margie was a member of Northwest Christian Church. She was a registered nurse and was employed as the Director of Nurses for Macon County Health Dept. for several years. Margie enjoyed bowling. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ansel of Harristown, IL; children Michael D. Mooney, Theresa M. Lyons and husband Ted; grandchildren Lee Michael Lyons, Daniel Alan Lyons, Ashley Jeannine Lyons, all of Decatur, IL; and sister Nina Henderson of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy Dwight, and sister Linda Hudson. "
