Margie Descaro

Margie L. Descaro, 90, of Forsyth, passed away February 2, 2023.

Graveside service will be 12:30 PM, Monday, February 6, 2023 at North Fork Cemetery, Decatur. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur.

Margie was born May 24, 1932 in Flora, the daughter of Fred Leon and Clarice Amellia (Robinson) Senters. She was a school bus driver for Decatur Public Schools for 40 years. Margie loved gardening and fishing as well as playing bingo and playing the machines. She truly enjoyed time spent with her family. Margie attended South Shores Christian Church.

Surviving are her children: Donna Mochel of Forsyth, Shirley Hensley of Decatur, Mary Descaro of Mesa, AZ, John (Jill) Descaro of Decatur, Carol (Dave) Tucker of Decatur, and Beverly (Jim) Baity of Macon; grandchildren: Heather, Zachary, Jason, Gene, Dana, Brena, Darrin and Sarah; great-grandchildren: Ava, Sofia, Austin, Kyle, Tyler, Grant, Graham, and Julia; brothers: Pat (Ann) Senters of Bend, OR and Dan (Kathy) Senters of Waynesville.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Norman Descaro; daughter, Becky Leigh; 9 brothers and 1 sister.
