Visitation: 12:00 PM on June 29, 2011 Funeral: 1:00 PM on June 29, 2011 Margaret Helen Bayless, 88, of Decatur, IL, died Sunday, (June 26th, 2011) in Aspen Ridge Care Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice. Helen was born November 27, 1922, in Forsyth, IL, the daughter of Rufus H. and Margaret (Funk) Myers. Helen married J. Russell Bayless on April 10, 1971 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2005. Helen enjoyed dining out and dancing at the Moose Lodge into her 88th year with her special friend Don Merritt and spending time with her many beloved friends. She retired from Borg Warner Automotive after many years of service. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Don Myers and Francis Myers and sister Mildred Myers. She is survived by her nephews Don Myers Jr. and Ralph Myers, both of Decatur, IL, niece Julie Schrier of Las Cruces, NM, stepdaughters Susan Wolfe of Collinsville, IL and Barbara Heger of Laguna Niguel, CA. Helen's family extends their heartfelt thanks to Carline, Marilyn and the entire staff at Aspen Ridge for the special care she received during her stay. "
