DECATUR -- Madonna T. (Althoff) Dilbeck, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away peacefully at 11:18 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Fair Havens Christian Home, Decatur, IL.Madonna was born on July 24, 1924 in Teutopolis, IL. She married Billy Dilbeck of Decatur on June 18, 1949 at St. James Catholic Church. Bill preceded her in death on September 7, 1999.She is survived by her sons Tom Dilbeck (Cathy) of Decatur, IL; Jeff Dilbeck (Deborah) of Lincoln, NE; daughters, Lisa Dilbeck of Decatur, IL; Lynne Proctor (Carl) of Cerro Gordo, IL. Grandchildren: Brianne Dilbeck, Matthew Dilbeck (Nicole), Zachary Dilbeck, Taylar Proctor, Shelby Proctor, Morgan Dilbeck, and Jackson Dilbeck. Great grandchildren: Griffin Dilbeck & Kolton Dilbeck. The joy that her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren brought to her life was simply a gift from God. They were her rainbows after a storm.Madonna was preceded in death by her twin sons, Barry & Terry, her parents, George (Pete) & Josephine Althoff; sisters, Evelyn Althoff, and Mary (Althoff) Hullinger; brothers Maurice Althoff & Eugene Althoff. Surviving are sisters; Alice Page & Jan (Babe) Richardson, along with many special nieces and nephews.Private family memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held at St. James Catholic Church at 9:00am on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Fair Havens Christian Home for their care & respect shown to Madonna during her time with them.
