Mabel Peters

Mabel G. Peters, 94, of Pana, IL, formerly of Decatur, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Heritage Manor in Pana. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mabel was born December 6, 1924, in Ramsey, IL, daughter of Daniel and Minnie (Hopkins) Eller. She married Billy C. Peters December 3, 1952, in Pocahontas, AR. He preceded her in death April 16, 1999. Mabel was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church in Moweaqua, IL. She worked for Borg Warner, retiring after 31 years of service. Mabel is survived by her children: Del Peters and wife Michele of Maroa, Norma Timmons and husband Frank of Millen, GA, Linda DeYoung of Decatur, and Dena Hodges and husband Garey of Ramsey; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and one brother. "
