Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Resurrection Parish, Illiopolis, IL, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Illiopolis, IL. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to Resurrection Parish or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.Jane was born on November 26, 1929, in Niantic, IL, the daughter of George Earnest and Thressa Evelyn (Harding) Irvin. She married Merle E. Moore on February 11, 1950, in Niantic, at St. Anns Catholic Church.Jane was a member of Resurrection Parish and a former board member of the St. Anns Alter Society. She enjoyed sewing.Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Merle of Niantic; son Michael Moore and wife Brenda of Decatur, IL; daughter Janet Rayburn and husband Mark of Bloomington, IL; grandchildren Melissa Johanning, Tom Moore and wife Courtney, Brent Moore, Paul Rayburn, and Aaron Rayburn; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Georgia Ann Irvin of Decatur, IL; aunt Betty Lucas and husband Raymond of Morrisonville, IL.Jane was preceded in death by her parents, brother Wayne Irvin, granddaughter Ashley Jane Moore, and grandson-in-law David Johanning.
