M. Elizabeth "Liz" "Libby" "Lib" Montgomery, 91, of Decatur, formerly of Maroa, died Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Maroa United Methodist Church. Libby was born January 30, 1922, near Kenney, the daughter of Leslie K. and Minnie Potter Montgomery. She worked for Seno Formal Wear for 15 years before retiring in the mid 1980s. Prior to that, she worked for Gebhardt Gusher and Reich Jewelers. Libby was a caregiver for her mother and sisters, and she enjoyed seeing her nieces and nephews and their children. She was a member of Maroa United Methodist Church. She is survived by her nephews, Eric (Susan) Tibbetts of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Tyler (Paula) Tibbetts of St. Johns, FL, Kevin (Kathy) Montgomery of Maroa, Daniel (Terri) Montgomery of Decatur; nieces, Lynette (Tim) White of Maroa, Deanna (Duane) Chandler of Maroa, Kathleen Montgomery of Tucson, AZ; 11 grand nieces and nephews, 12 great grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one great grand niece, two brothers, and three sisters. "
