Lynda White

Lynda L. White, 63, of Decatur, IL, passed away 3:54 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. Memorials may be made to Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois. Lynda was born October 22, 1951 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Allen R. and Gladys I. (Shumake) Ruch. She married Michael Allen White on April 17, 1971 in St. Louis, MO. Lynda was a member of New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Decatur, IL. She worked as an LPN and in Same Day Surgery at DMH for several years. Lynda loved traveling and reading. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael of Decatur, IL; children Ben J. White and wife Michelle of Decatur, IL, Jill D. White and fiancé Scotty Callaway of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Derick J. and Layla G. White, both of Decatur, IL; brothers John R. and Charles E. Ruch, both of Decatur, IL; sister Jeanne Bodkin and husband Lynn of Decatur, IL; 3 cats Princess, Pewter, and Cocoa. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Matthew M. White. "
