Lynda Dulaney

Lynda Lee "Pee-Wee" (Johnson) Dulaney, age 70, went home to be with the Lord at 11:28 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 17, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Lynda was born January 24, 1944, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Freddie Levi and Lena T. (Smith) Johnson. She married Charles Dulaney on June 19, 1992. Lynda enjoyed sewing and reading, and especially loved spending time with her family. She was a strong supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital. She is survived by her husband Charles of Decatur, IL; children Sherrie (Rory) Roderick of Tolono, IL, Gary (Valerie) Sanborn, Jr. of Lincoln, IL, Christopher (Judy) Sanborn of Norwich, CT; stepsons Thomas Lee (Kathy) Dulaney of Flowery Branch, GA, Dean Alan Dulaney and Charles Brent Dulaney, both of Marietta, GA; 24 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and sister-in-law Mary Johnson of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Beverly Roberts, and brother Freddie Levi Johnson II. "
