Lucille W. Knapp, 90, of Oakley, IL, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2019, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Lucille was born March 22, 1929, in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Orlan Ray and Waneta Ellen (Largent) Severe. She married Benjamin Franklin Knapp, Jr. on April 1, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2013. Lucille was a member of Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church and H.C.E. (Home Community Education). She is survived by her children Monty Knapp and wife Kendra, Curt Toby Knapp and wife Lori, Christine Burnett and husband Brett, all of Decatur; grandchildren Justin, Ryan, Katie, Stephanie, Casey, Amber, and Stacey; great grandchildren Adrienne and Kierstin Marchal, Rylie Hinkleman, Mason Turner; sister Irene Kemper and husband Billy of Greenup, IL; brother Dean Severe and wife Sandy of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Tukie and Melvin.
