Louise M. Holt, 87, of Decatur, IL, went into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 1, 2016, at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. The family requests casual attire. Memorials may be made to God’s Shelter of Love.Louise was born July 25, 1928 in Pierson Station, IL, the daughter of Russell R. and Buelah (Dickey) Chamberlain. She married William D. Holt on January 7, 1972 in Decatur, IL and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2010. Louise was a member of Northwest Christian Church. She worked as a claims supervisor at Federal Kemper Insurance for many years. She is survived by her daughter Linda Ossowski; niece Marsha (Denny) Ward; nephew Mark Patient; stepsons Ed (Sharon) Holt and Kevin Holt, all of Decatur, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Dorothy, and great nephew Chad Ward.
