Loretta B. Sullivan, 94, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Graveside Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, October 16, 2023 at Macon County Memorial Park, Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Loretta’s honor may be made to First United Methodist Church.
Loretta was born October 5, 1929 in Ramsey, the daughter of Nathan and Oma (Tedrick) Roberts. She married Robert “Bob” Sullivan on August 19, 1951 whom she met while they were both working at the Pom Pom Café. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2017. Loretta enjoyed sewing and crafts. She also like to garden and loved spending time outdoors in nature. Loretta was an avid sports fan and loved to watch sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
Surviving are her children: Connie Sullivan of Decatur, Kevin Sullivan and wife, Tina of Monument, CO, and Debbie Wright and husband, Brian of Decatur; grandchildren: Hanna Dovalina and Erin Sullivan; siblings: Murel Wright of Decatur, Shirley Neece of Monticello, and Willie Roberts of Decatur.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert “Bob” Sullivan; and siblings: Ralph Roberts, Marie Camp, Marvin Roberts, and Nathan Roberts.
