Loretta E. Quiggle, 91, of Decatur, IL, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur, IL. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 30, 2012, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Burial and graveside services will be 12:00 noon, Friday, March 30, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or Imboden Creek Living Center. Loretta was born January 10, 1921, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James J. and Ella Anna (Hackenbrock) Thompson. She married Frank Quiggle and he preceded her in death in April 1982. Loretta was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Havana, IL and attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Decatur, IL. She attended St. Mary's Boarding School of Notre Dame, V.F. W. Auxiliary and was a volunteer at Mason District Hospital in Havana, IL. She is survived by her children Frank D. (Suzanne) Quiggle of Bath, IL, Mary Catherine Williamson of Havana, IL, Noreen (John) Duncan of Decatur, IL, Carol Ann Sherman of Burlingame, CA, D.J. (Rebecca) Quiggle of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Nichole, Kimberly, Buddy, Christian, Gretchen, Rachael, Michelle, Jimmy (Stacey), Nicholas (Jennifer), Nathalie (Matt), Jack, Kyle (Liz), Lindsay, Lindsey, Elise; great grandchildren Duncan, Ellie, Alexis, Kaelin, Shirin, Rosie Jo, Mary Beth, Kayden; sisters Joan (Jack) A'Hearn of Hot Springs, AR, Pat Kramer of Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, brother John R. Thompson, sister Frances M. Feller. The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at Imboden Living Center. They have been Loretta's extended family during her journey for the last six years. "
