Loretta M. "GiGi" Blick,88, of Decatur, Died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 in the Star of Hope Mausoleum in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:30AM, Tuesday until service. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Decatur Memorial Hospice. Mrs. Blick was born Jan. 2, 1923 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Charles A. & Elsie Wheeler Seitz. She married Wayne Blick March 29, 1942, he preceded her in death. Mrs. Blick worked at Wabash and St. Mary's Hospitals prior to retiring as a "Unit Aide". She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Blick leaves; Daughter Patti Toney & Husband Jack of Big Canoe, Ga., Son Rodger W. Blick of Oak Creek, Wi. And Daughter-In-Law Julie of Morton, Il. Sister Laverna Bauman of Peoria, Il., Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Blick was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers Emmett, Laurence and Charles ,Jr. GiGi's family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all the care givers at Decatur Memorial Hospital and the Hospice Staff for their weeks of caring for GiGi during her illness.
