Visitation: 6:00 PM on July 19, 2011 Funeral: 10:00 AM on July 20, 2011 Lorene M. Taylor, 89, of Decatur died 12:05 AM Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials: American Legion Post #105 Lorene was born August 18, 1921 in Lovington, IL, the daughter of James and Cora M. (Cummins) Morgan. She married Johnie Hayden Taylor on May 7, 1937 in Sullivan, IL. Lorene was a homemaker in her own home. She enjoyed playing golf and liked to go bowling. She served as a volunteer at Decatur Memorial Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital. She was a member of American Legion Post #105, Caterpillar Retiree's Club, and a longtime member of Decatur Pride Softball Team Booster Club. Lorene is survived by one son, Jim Taylor and wife Sharon K. of East Peoria, IL; three grandchildren, Vicki S. Taylor of Forsyth, IL, Lori Langan and husband Kevin of Williamsville, IL, Jim E. Taylor, Jr and fiancé, Desiree of Peoria Heights, IL; and four great - grandchildren Joe Langan and wife Danielle of East Peoria, Matt Langan of Williamsville, IL, Emily Langan of Williamsville, IL and Krysta Taylor of Morton, IL.
