Lorene Jarrett

Lorene M. Jarrett, 67, of Decatur, IL, went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2013, at home surrounded by her family. Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 18, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the family. Lorene was born to the late Harold and Virginia (Camp) Peyton on July 10, 1945. Lorene married William R. Jarrett on November 2, 1962 and their love has lasted 50 years. Lorene formally worked at Weiser Optical in Decatur and Sears Optical in Orlando, FL. She had a passion for life and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorene spent her weekends going to rummage sales with her sister and going to First Church of the Nazarene on Sundays. Surviving are her husband Bill; children William "Billy" Jarrett, Connie Williams and Sheila (Donnie) Warren, all of Decatur, IL; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister Helen Trimmer; brothers Dwayne, Jim (Karen), Dennis "Elvis" Peyton; many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lisa, and granddaughter Amber. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Kairouz, DMH 4th floor nurses and to DMH Hospice Care nurse Angie. "
