Lorelei Susan Semenow, 56, of Cerro Gordo, died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Heartland Health Care Center. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday, June 15, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL. Funeral services will be 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 20, at Schmaedeke Funeral Home, Worth, IL, with visitation from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Gardens South. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or National Wildlife Federation. Lorelei was born March 14, 1957 in Palos Heights, IL, the daughter of John and Betty (Linne') Carter. She married Victor S. Semenow in Palos Heights on September 2, 1989. Lorelei was a bookkeeper for Acme-Decatur in Decatur, IL. She was also a member of Palos Bible Church, Palos Heights, IL. She is survived by her husband Victor of Cerro Gordo; daughter Britt L. Semenow of Cerro Gordo; sister Cynthia (Ed) Howell of Cerro Gordo; brother Dr. Richard Carter (Mindy) of Waunakee, WI; seven nephews and their spouses and nine nieces and their spouses; mother-in-law Judy Semenow of Oak Lawn, IL. Lorelei was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Carter, and father-in-law, Zachar Semenow. "
