Visitation will be held on Thursday (08-21-2008) from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to: the Dearman family at The State Bank of Niantic, the Wyckles branch.Lola was born on August 20, 1943, in Decatur, IL., the daughter of Walter F. Arndt and Julia F. (Haws) Arndt.She is survived by her two children: Rebecca Sue Mardis and husband Jimmy of Decatur, IL., and Robert D. Cain of Decatur, IL.; three grandchildren: Dustin, Angel, and Nickie.; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Robert Buster Powell and wife Sharon of Decatur, IL., Patricia P. Beaman of Decatur, IL., Walter Lucky Arndt and wife Sandy, and Verna Shug Adams of Moweaqua, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents.The family would like to give special thanks to her best friend Anne McCoy and friend Ike, and to Dr. Velasco and the staff at Cancer Care Specialists.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
