Lois Cooper

Lois C. Cooper, 96, of New Conord, KY, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 21, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery, Mt. Pulaski, IL. Lois was born June 27, 1923, in Lake Fork, IL, daughter of Orville and Myrtle (Munyon) Shrader. She married Leland Green February 6, 1939; he preceded her in death December 19, 1984. She later married Boyd Cooper April 19, 2009; he preceded her in death July 9, 2016. Lois was a member of Gospel Chapel. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Surviving is her daughter, Nancy Payton and husband Robert of New Concord, KY; grandchildren Rebecca Massey and husband Mark, Danny Payton and wife Sandra, Dennis Payton, Robin Bates and husband Jeremy; 13 great-grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter Lois Creager, grandson Brett Creager, and two brothers.
