Lisa was born Sept. 5, 1961, in East St. Louis, IL and raised in Decatur, IL She graduated from St. Teresa High School, Decatur, IL and received her nursing degree (RN, BSN) from St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, Peoria, IL. She was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. Lisa was also a dedicated employee and respected colleague at Healthtrust Purchasing Group, Brentwood, TN serving as the Director of Surgical Services. Prior to that time she was a Registered Nurse for 27 years.She was one of five children born to the late Robert and Carolyn Leiner (OBrien) of Decatur, IL. She is survived by her daughter Leah Mattix of Murfreesboro, TN, two brothers: Steve Leiner and wife Dawn of Decatur, IL, Ken Leiner and wife Sherri of Fortville, IN, two sisters; Kim Cyphers and husband Jeff, Dr. Christina Lohse and husband Dr. James Lohse, all of Franklin, TN, six nephews, Carson Leiner, Lucas Leiner, Nathan and Nicholas Cyphers, Quinn and Hudson Lohse and one niece, Lillian Leiner and countless number of aunts, uncles and cousins who all have been blessed to have her in their lives. Lisa touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity, intensity and passion for life. All who knew her will miss her caring hands and warm heart.A Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, January 25th at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, Nashville, TN. A visitation will be held prior to the Funeral mass from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the church. Memorial donations can be contributed to an educational fund arranged in her daughters name, Leah Mattix, at Decatur Earthmover Credit Union: 4855 Aldi Drive, Decatur, IL 62521. "
