Lisa Brooks

Lisa Marie Brooks, 45, of Decatur, passed away at 7:38pm Wednesday, May 25th, 2016. She was born February 19, 1971, daughter of Kenneth Sr. and Diana Brooks, residing in Hudson, FL.She had such great love for her three sons and family. Her greatest passion was music. Also, her friendliness and kindness to all people is a tribute to the beauty of her heart and soul. She brought so much laughter everywhere she went.Along with her parents, she is survived by her two sons, Bryan and Alex Cox of Joplin, MO., her brother Kenneth Brooks Jr. and his wife Karen of Palm Harbor, FL., and by her four nieces, Missy Page Kearns of Bangor, ME, Nicole Horne, Bridgett Robb and Heather Arndt of Decatur. She is also survived by a special family friend, Steve Campbell of Decatur.She is preceded in death by sister, Kimberly Brooks and son Zachary Morgan. Memorial services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside services to follow at Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be given to Holy Family Catholic Church. "
