Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 23 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mt. Zion, IL.Memorial services will be 3 P.M., Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Central Christian Church, Decatur, IL, with a Bell Ceremony performed by the Decatur Fire Department Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church, 650 W. William St., Decatur, IL 62522 or to Sullivan Rehab & Health Care, 11 Hawthorne Lane, Sullivan, IL 61951.Linn was born September 27, 1931, in Wayne Co., Fairfield, IL, the son of Orian Alex and Myrtle Ann (Robison) Cummins. He married Barbara Whicker on September 6, 1951 in Decatur, IL. She preceded him in death on June 17, 1990. He later married Mary Fortner Martin on November 16, 1991 in Decatur, IL. Linn was a member of Central Christian Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Linn was a Meadow Gold milkman for several years before he became a Firefighter for the Decatur Fire Department from 1964 until his retirement in 1991.He is survived by his wife Mary of Decatur; daughters Sheryl Frye and husband Ken of Forsyth, IL, Debbie Cummins of High Point, NC; stepsons Stuart Martin and wife Marsha of Peculiar, MO, William Martin and wife Amber of Moberly, MO; grandson Daniel Frye of Forsyth, IL; step grandchilden Hunter and Taylor Martin of Moberly, MO; MichaelWright and Anna Vinyard of Peculiar, MO; step great grandchild Madison Downey.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara, brothers Cramer Lee Cummins and Carl Robison Cummins. "
