Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M., Friday, May 6, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL. Memorials may be made to Eastview Terrace, Sullivan, IL.Linda was born July 4, 1947 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Theodore Ferdinand Jr. and Anna May Myers. Linda was self employed and loved her grandchildren very much. She enjoyed gardening and loved animals of all kinds.She is survived by her sons Todd Shackelford and wife Susan of Harristown, IL and Van Ray Shackelford of Green River, WY; grandchildren Austin Lane Shackelford, Colby Paige Shackelford, Jennifer Marie Shackelford, Vanessa Lorraine Shackelford.She was preceded in death by her parents and son Kenith Eugene Shackelford.The family would like to give special thanks to Eastview Terrace nursing home and their staff for the wonderful care given to Linda for the last 6 years. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends. "
