Linda Feldman

Linda Krekel Ray Feldman, 74, of Decatur, IL, departed life Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in her home.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 30, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.Linda was born March 31, 1944, in Decatur, daughter of William F. and Nancy (Oglesby) Krekel. She married Willard Eugene (Gene) Ray, he preceded her in death in 1973. She later married Jack P. Feldman, he preceded her in 2002.Linda was a member of New Beginnings Church of God. She grew up working for Krekel’s and retired from Millikin University in 2013 after 22 years in the dining services. Linda enjoyed shopping, doll collecting and fishing.Surviving are her children: Brian (Amy) Ray of Macon, Chris (Lelah) Ray of Decatur, Suzie Sperry of Rochester, Tara Martin of Minneapolis, and Derek Feldman of St. Louis; grandchildren: Lynn, Michael and Jacob Ray, Madeline Sperry, twins Talon and Jayda Sperry; step grandchildren: Josh and Jordyn Thompson, Brittannee Williams, Colin and Zayne Brown; 4 great grandchildren; sister: Kimberly (Brad) Patient of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews.Linda was preceded in death by her parents, sister Suzanne Bourne, brother Rick Krekel, grandson Jordan Ray, and her beloved pet Winnie.Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. "
