Lillian Edgecombe

Lillian Viola (Rucker) Edgecombe, 91, of Argenta died Saturday October 25, 2014 at Keystone Meadows. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 1, 2104, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta. Lillian was born in Rockwell, Iowa on January 8th, 1923 to James and Ella (Peterson) Rucker. She married George W. Edgecombe on March 26, 1944. She was a farmer's wife and she worked a short time at DMH in the 1940s and 1980s. Lillian was a member of Argenta Presbyterian Church. Surviving are son, James (Emily) Edgecombe of Argenta, daughter Cathy Mrotzek of Forsyth, son-in-law Greg Poepl of Pleasant Plains, sister Evelyn Kaufman of Decatur, grandchildren Dan (Wanda) Edgecombe of Alabama, Chris (April) Poepl of Georgia, Holly Edgecombe of Montana, Megan Edgecombe of Virginia, and great granddaughter Sofia Edgecombe of Montana. She was preceded in death by her husband George, daughter Pamela Poepl, son-in-law Dave Mrotzek, and parents James and Ella. "
