Lillian N. Atkins, 92, of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Lillian was born March 10, 1923 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Ralph and Nell (Rimkus) Shereiv. She married Harry R. Atkins on September 6, 1941 in Decatur, IL and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Robert J. Atkins and wife Sharon of Mt. Zion, IL, Joyce Wright of Robinson, IL, Jerry Atkins of Decatur, and Delores Tucker of Decatur; 9 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry, sister Mildred Pavur, and brother Chester Shereiv. "
