Leota "Joyce" Anderson, 83, of Decatur, IL, passed away 4:57 a.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2015, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery, Macon, IL. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church Economy Shop. Leota was born May 22, 1931 in Macon, IL, the daughter of Rector and Bessie V. (Cole) Wilking. She married Jesse "Dan" Anderson on September 7, 1952 in Macon, IL. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2011. Leota attended Grace United Methodist Church and worked for the Economy Shop at the church. She loved her volunteer work, making crafts, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter Carol (James) Morris of Beecher City, IL; son Steve (Judith) Anderson of Fults, IL; grandchildren David C. (Melissa) Anderson and J.D. Morris; great granddaughter Cecilia. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. "
