Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 AM December 14, 2010 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home with visitation 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown, IL Leona was born October 29, 1918 in Decatur, IL the daughter of William and Josephine (Serak) Bunzel. She was married in Decatur, IL to Henry A. Wond in November 30, 1935, and he preceded her on June 15, 1992. Leona was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL Surviving : three sons-Henry R. (Patricia) Wond; William Bill (Vada) Wond and Michael (Renay) Wond all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Tina Marie (Wond) Deetz, Heather Wond, Tammy Meyers, Henry Richard Wond, Jr, William P. Wond, Melissa Loveall; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wond, Colton Deetz, Larry Meyers, (twins) Michael and Michelle Wond, Angelia Loveall, Raelyn Stinson, Alex Wond; sister-in-law Ester Wond of Decatur, IL and several nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry A. Wond, and sister, Eleanor Massey . The family would like to thank Aspen Ridge and Dr. John Newlin for their care.
