Lenore Beery

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, at Brintlinger and Earl Cerro Gordo Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m Friday, January 15, at the funeral home. Burial will be in West Frantz Cemetery, Oakley, IL.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Project Linus 730 Stevens Creek Blvd Forsyth, IL 62535, or to the Cerro Gordo Library.Lenora was born on September 25, 1922, in Cerro Gordo, IL, the daughter of Eldo Francis and Emma Minerva (Miller) Beery.Lenora previously worked as a teller for the State Bank of Cerro Gordo, and also worked at Loudenbach Drugstore. She was affiliated with the Cerro Gordo Church of the Brethren and Old Order German Baptist Church. Lenora was born and spent her entire life on the family farm which has been in the family for over 150 years. She enjoyed quilting, church, babysitting, reading, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her nieces Marlene (Arnold) Schultz of Cerro Gordo, IL, Lorraine Keller of Normal, IL; great-nephews Kyle Schultz, Robert (Diane) Keller, Randy (Mindy) Keller; great-niece Katana (Ryan) Baker; great-great-nieces Emma and Mara Baker; great-great-nephews Aidan Baker and Adam Keller.Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, brother Francis Beery, sister Ethel Beery, and nephew-in-law Robert C.
