Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday (03-10-2010) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home Decatur, IL. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday (03-09-2010) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be at IOOF Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Memorials may be made to: Decatur Public School Foundation.Leah was born on September 26, 1921 in Assumption, IL., the daughter of Clarence Cleveland Carrier and Margie (Ginger) Carrier. She married A. Clayton Proctor on June 7, 1943 in Santa Barbra, CA.She was valedictorian of her graduating class at Assumption High School. Leah was also a 1943 graduate of Millikin University. She was an elementary teacher at Oak Grove School from 1960-1986. Leah was also a member of Central Christian Church.She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Clayton of Decatur, IL.; daughter: Gayle Seger and husband Kevin of Decatur, IL.; son: Roger Proctor and wife Roberta of East Peoria, IL.; 3 grandchildren: Kelly Bantz and husband Michael of Decatur, IL., Andrew Proctor of Savoy, IL., and Adam Proctor and fiancee Nicole of Carey, N.C.; and one sister: Helen Brand of Pana , IL.Leah was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Glen and Haldon Carrier, and one sister Dorothy Johnson.
