Lawrence “Erv” Blakeman, 65, of Warrensburg passed away November 24, 2016 at his residence.A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was one of kind who could always make you laugh. He was an avid reader with a brilliant mind and a thirst for knowledge. Larry loved his friends and was always there to lend a hand. His smile and whistle will be greatly missed.He is survived by his siblings John R. Blakeman of Kansas City, KS, Fay Wade (David) of Lawrenceville, GA, and Toni Blakeman and companion Del Whitehurst of Decatur; companion Doris Molt of Warrensburg; son, Zach Miller of Decatur; and his beloved cat, Candy.Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob and one sister, Sharon.
