Larry Rogers

Larry "LR" Rogers, 71, of Decatur, IL, passed away at home on Thursday, April 12, 2012. There will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded. The family is being served by Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Larry was born January 1, 1941, in Decatur, IL, the son of James and Irma Lily (Swim) Rogers. Larry was co-owner and CEO of Barton Manufacturing. He was a member of South Side Country Club and loved to golf, travel, and had a great talent for creating and operating businesses. He was a blunt, fun loving, opinionated man who was always dressed to impress with his most memorable outfit including a pair of pastel pink pants he wore for the Sandy McKenzie golf tournament. LR always said he lived his life with No Regrets! Larry is survived by his wife Tina Rogers, daughters Jenna Vissering and Shelby Burgess, brother and sister-in-law Mark and LouAnn Sain, nephews and nieces Mark and Angela Sain, Matt and Becky Sain, and Danielle Sain, honorary brother and business partner Greg Mason, and many dear friends too numerous to count. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Darrel Rogers. "
