Larry William Hodges “Larry D”, 61, of Decatur, IL, passed away in his home on November 14, 2023.
Larry was born in Decatur, IL, on September 3, 1962 to Sandra Hodges and Willy McMahon.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina Hodges; son, Cory Patterson; sister, Brenda Hodges; brothers, Jerry and Jeff Hodges; grandchildren: Cali Hodges, Maleah Courier, and Hudson Courier; along with many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. He is also survived by his brother in Christ, Peter Compton.
Larry is preceded in death by his son; Marcus Hodges; mother, Sandra Hodges; fathers, Ernest Hodges and Willy McMahon; sister, Jackie Stolle; brother, Ray Hodges; and his Aunt, Charolette Logan.
Larry was a loving, caring, and genuine man with a heart of gold. He was very loved and will be missed by many.
Brintlinger and Earl are assisting the family with arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held in memory of Larry at a later date.
