Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. MacArthur Rd., Decatur, IL 62526.Margaret was born March 17, 1923, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Eli and Edna (Webb) Wakefield. She married William M. Silver on February 14, 1953, in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2007.Margaret was a member of Mound Road Christian Church. She was former owner of Wakefield Nursing Homes in Decatur, IL.She is survived by her children Laurie Ahlgrim and husband Ryan of Indianapolis, IN, Robert G. Silver of LaCrosse, WI, Jennie D. Wernecke and husband Todd of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Garrett, Savannah, McKenzie, Tyler, Zachary and Olivia.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, one brother and one sister. "
