Krista Kay Frisby, 56, of Decatur, IL, passed away 5:37 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or St. John's Lutheran Church. Krista was born August 15, 1958 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Frank William and Becky Lou (Smith) Frisby. Krista was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was a dedicated aunt to her nephew, Jason Frisby and niece Nicole (Frisby) Hubbs. Krista was a paper carrier in the South Shores area for more than 25 years and she would go above and beyond to satisfy her customers and make them happy. Krista was a very loving and giving person and would do anything for anyone. She loved animals and had a huge heart for pets, especially dogs and cats. She is survived by her parents Frank W. and Becky Frisby of Decatur, IL; brother Michael William Frisby and wife Barbara of Riverside, CA; sister Karla K. Frisby of Springfield, IL; boyfriend Eugene Carter of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. "
