Kenneth M. Stubblefield, 91, of Decatur, IL died 7:00 PM, Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 5:30 - 7:30 PM, Monday December 3, 2012, with Masonic rites conducted at 7:30 PM Monday by Stephen Decatur Lodge #979, A.F.& A.M. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: 1st Lutheran Church. Kenneth was born December 9, 1920 in Mt. Auburn, IL, the son of Charles and Ethel Mae (Divine) Stubblefield. Kenneth served with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, serving during WW II. On October 1938 in Stewardson, IL, he married Ruby Ruth Mahnke. She died on February 8, 1991. Following his discharge from the U.S. Army, Kenneth worked for A. E. Staley Co. for all of his career, and retired in 1980. Kenneth was a member of 1st Lutheran Church, Stephen Decatur Lodge #979 A.F. & A.M., and Staley Retirement Club. During his leisure time, Kenneth was an avid golfer, a St. Louis Cardinal and U of I fan, and enjoyed camping over the USA. He was extremely proud of his garden, which was the envy of all his neighborhood. He also enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren's and great-grand-childrens' activities. Surviving are his daughter, Carol Jebe and husband Roger of Oreana, IL; daughter, Kathy Enloe and husband Sam of Edwardsville, IL; grandchildren Tod Jebe and wife Margaret of Monticello, Jason Enloe and wife Katie of Dallas, TX, Julie Lewis and husband, Matt of Edwardsville, IL; great grandchildren, Alexandra, Emma and Isabella Jebe, Riley and Mason Lewis, and Emma Enloe. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Ruby; two brothers, one sister, one grandson: Stuart Jebe, and his special friend, Elaine Prosser. Our Dad was so blessed with wonderful friends and neighbors. We are grateful to all of them. We also express our thanks to Dr. Dan Smith and Dr. Kola for their kind attention to our Dad. "
