Kenneth J. “Jim” Stone, 77, of Decatur IL, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home in Decatur, IL. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maroa Cemetery. Memorials in Jim’s honor may be made to the Macon County Branch of the American Red Cross.

Jim was born January 19, 1947, in Decatur, IL, the son of Kenneth A. and Nellie Irene (Wikoff) Stone.

He was a retired farmer and could be found showing shorthorn cattle at county fairs. He loved spending time with his family, and the great outdoors – spending lots of time feeding the various wildlife around his home.

Jim is survived by his brother, John Stone of Bloomington, IL; sister, Nancy Johnson of Greenville, Illinois; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents.
