Kenneth Cunningham

Kenneth L. Cunningham, 89, of Latham, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Blue Mound, IL. Memorials may be made to Latham Fire and Rescue or to Latham United Methodist Church. Kenneth was born May 30, 1926 in Blue Mound, IL, the son of John and Maude (Damery) Cunningham. He married Mary Ann Lash on January 1, 1948, and were married for 67 years, until her death on October 10, 2015. Kenneth and Mary Ann farmed for 50 years in the Latham-Kenney area. He always loved going to the grandkids sporting events and all the activities they were in. Kenneth was a board member and past president of Farmers Grain Coop, loved drinking coffee with the guys and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Latham United Methodist Church. He is survived by his son: Larry W. Cunningham and wife Ralonda of Maroa, IL; 5 grandchildren: Aaron Cunningham (Jennifer) of Forsyth, IL, Kimberly Miller (Brian) of Kenney, IL, Lee Ann Price (Kyle) of Mattoon, IL, Rebecca Christain of Decatur, IL, and Kevin Cunningham (Trina) of Normal, IL; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 step-great grandchildren; brother: Neil (Erma) Cunningham, of Maroa, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Ann, son David, sister Elizabeth Bowers, and brothers Merle & Keith. A special thanks to all the Vonderlieth personnel who helped keep Kenneth comfortable for his 5 years there. "
