Visitation: 11:30 AM on August 30, 2011 Funeral: 1:00 PM on August 30, 2011 Kenneth William Colebar, of Decatur, born January 20, 1939, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011, in his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Visitation will be from 11:30AM to 12:30 PM Tuesday at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Ken (Kenny) was the son of Anthony W. and Beulah M. (Howard) Colebar. He married Kathy Wrigley in Decatur on September 9, 1961. After 49 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on December 19, 2010, and she will be laid to rest with him. Kenny served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1959. He was a retired payroll manager at Wagner Castings Company. He thoroughly enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing "wherever they were biting", playing poker and having coffee with friends. In recent months he enjoyed visiting the Macon County Senior Center, especially playing pool. He is survived by daughter Kelly Colebar, son James (Rene`) Colebar and daugher Kendra (Dick) Haun. He has four beautiful granddaughters, Jessica Lynn Colebar (Tom Fowle), Megan Marie Haun, McKenzee Louise Shaw and Ella Leigh Colebar. He also has five step grandchildren Janson and Jarod Haun, Gage and Gavin Rawls and Beth Nihiser. He is survived by three siblings Clay, Leona and Elaine. We would like to thank Dr. Richard Fritz, his staff, and St. John's Hospice. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Fritz for going above and beyond in caring for Ken. Special thanks is extended to Lynn at St. John's Hospice for the care provided to Ken and support given to the family during his final days. "
