Kenneth Burger

Kenneth Linton Burger, 95, of Decatur, IL passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded by Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, CA. Kenneth was born on February 02, 1923 in Decatur, IL the son of Iassac E. and Nanna Francis (Justice) Burger. He married Ruth T. Cochran on Feb. 09, 1946 in Paducah, KY and she has preceded him in death. Kenneth worked as an electrician for Local #146 and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Surviving are his children; one son, Steven (wife, Carla) Burger, and two daughters, Linda (husband, Dennis) Harshbarger and Debbie (husband, Steve) Durbin, all of Decatur, IL. Also surviving are his grandsons; Kenny Burger, Kris Burger, and Brandon Durbin. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; daughter, Marianne, and great-grandson, Gage Durbin. "
