Keith Gordon Wilber, Sr., 84, of Decatur, passed away April 16, 2024 at his home.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, May 16, 2024 at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family.
Keith was born December 29, 1939 in Decatur, the son of Russell Lowell and Margie Marie (Hebel) Wilber. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School in the class of 1958. He married Patricia Ann Balding on May 15, 1962 in Decatur. Keith proudly served our country in the US Army. He worked for Illinois Power for 25 years, retiring as a Welding Standings Advisor. Keith also served as an Auxiliary Deputy for the Macon County Sheriff’s office and a Deputy Coroner for Macon County. He enjoyed fixing cars and coached sports for his sons.
Surviving are his sons: Nick (Laurie) Wilber of Grayslake, IL, and Jim (Sandy) Wilber of Decatur; grandchildren: Kyle, Logan, Xander, and Race; great-grandchild, Raynee; sister, Kim Brown of Decatur and special friends Larry and Sandy Hott.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; and sons: Keith Wilber, Jr. and Chad Lowell Wilber.
