Keith E. Cribbet, 87, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of Decatur, died Monday evening, May 27, 2019, at Sun Valley Lodge/Healthcare, Sun City, AZ. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, with visitation from 12:00 Noon to service time. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Keith was born July 25, 1931, in Decatur, the son of Glenn and Nova Ferguson Cribbet. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict from 1950-1952, and received 2 Purple Hearts during his service. He married Shirley Finch in Decatur on March 22, 1952, following his military service. He was a life-long member of Grace United Methodist Church and had been active in several church groups. Keith spent many years as a cabinet maker with Galka Custom Cabinet Co. in Decatur. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shirley; one daughter: Sheila (Michael) Rooney, of Sun City, AZ; one son: Larry (Cheri) Cribbet, of Crystal Lake, IL; 2 grandchildren: Jason Cribbet (Jessica Larsen) of Chicago, IL, and Tracy (Octavio) Hernandez, of Crystal Lake, IL; and 3 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kayla, and Nicholas Hernandez.
