Kay Enloe, 69, of Illiopolis, IL, died 10:55 P.M., Thursday, September 20, 2012 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. Memorial Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, September 24, 2012, at Resurrection Parish, Illiopolis, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 P.M., Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Resurrection Parish, Illiopolis, IL. Kay was born April 3, 1943 in Monmouth, N.J., the daughter of Lewis E. and Margaret E. (Clark) Ganter. She married Roy E. Enloe III on June 20, 1964 in Decatur, IL. Kay was a member of Resurrection Parish in Illiopolis, IL. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and treasured spending time with her family. Kay loved gardening, sewing, cooking and decorating. She always had a kind word and a smile on her face. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roy of Illiopolis, IL; children Angie Enloe-Robertson and husband Mike of St. Louis, MO, Christie Woods of Illiopolis, IL, Tracy Enloe and wife Danielle of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren Veronica and Nathaniel Woods of Illiopolis, IL; sisters Betty Cunningham and husband Denis of St. Augustine, FL, Karen McKinney and husband Pat of Tucson, AZ, Rita Jones and husband Stan of Anthem, AZ; and brother Ed Ganter and wife Diane of Manhattan Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Theresa. Kay was the most selfless woman you would ever know. She was a blessing to everyone she knew, and loved by all. "
