Kathi Lynn McClugage, 72, of Decatur, passed away May 25, 2026 at her home.
According to her wishes, no services will be held. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Homes, Decatur, is assisting the family.
Kathi was born December 29, 1953 in Peoria, the daughter of Samuel Gardner and Frances Elma (Schafer) McClugage. She worked for over 30 years as an HR director, retiring from Soy Capitol Bank. Kathi enjoyed working in her yard. She was a founding member of Opus 24 and remained active in Opus 24. Kathi was a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
Surviving are her siblings: Jo Ann Miller, Shirley Jones, and Sam (Katherine) McClugage, Jr; nieces and nephews: Jeff Miller (Angi) of Decatur, Julie Rosene (Mike) or Wilmington, NC, Robert Miller (Dee Jo) of Gardner, KS, Bill Miller (Carla ) of West Palm Beach, FL, Patrick Miller (Dan) of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Miller (Peggy) of Argenta, Jason (Lindy) of Mt. Zion, Sarah Pierce (Bill) of Benton, AR, Toby Ragle (Eric) of Argenta, Tracy Hagemann (Stephan) of Wisconsin, Samuel “Trey” McClugage III of Houston, TX.
Kathi was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Jenny (husband, Chuck) Portwood.
